Welcome to the unlucky 13th episode of the Two-Headed Nerd Comicast! Matt and Joe react to the huge revelation in last week’s Brightest Day #23, talk about the new Captain America series from Brubaker and McNiven, and cast their votes for this year’s Eisner Award nominees. Ask A Nerd is back with a question from Listenerd Flash Thunderhide: Is Flashpoint going to be DC’s chance to restart their universe, Crisis-style?

It’s all about the art this week when Joe reviews Herc #1 from Marvel and Matt gets sucked into the virtual world of Image Comics’ Nonplayer #1. The Cobra Civil War kicks off next week with the release of G.I. Joe #0 and Joe can’t wait! Matt is eager to follow the continuing adventures of Kid Loki in next week’s Journey Into Mystery #622 from Marvel.
