Just imagine…Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet transforming into a sword and shield swinging robot warrior, Decepticons invading the Fortress of Solitude, OPTIMUS PRIME WIELDING A GREEN LANTERN POWER RING… These are just some of the awesome scenes that could have been, if only DC had published the Transformers/JLA crossover pitched by artist Phil Jimenez pre-relaunch. Art from Jimenez’s pitch surfaced online last night, at the Tumblr blog of Brian Michael Bendis, of all places.
I can picture it now…Flash fighting off an invasion of Insecticons in Central City, Aquaman defemding Atlantis from the Seacons…
Tsk. Too bad…It would have been epic.
