Higher Earth #5 (Boom Studios):
Artist Joe Eisma takes over on this issue and brings a new life to this series. The story is getting more rich and complex. Jump on here if you haven’t been reading it, one of the best sci-fi books on the stands right now!

Happy #1 (Image Comics):
Did we really expect anything less than a great book from this pair of creators? Story is dark and hilarious, art is stellar and stylized. Get this any way you can!

Adventure Time #8 (Boom Studios):
I have yet to be disappointed by this comic. It makes me belly laugh at least once per issue. Even if you aren’t a fan of the tv show, this comic is so much fun. Hidden gems in all the margins, great art.

Hawken #6 (IDW):
This is the last issue in this miniseries by the creative team of the Truman brothers. Even if you haven’t been reading this till now, you can get this issue and enjoy the conclusion to this great western. The art is excellent; the story is dark and thrilling.

Fury MAX #6 (Marvel):
Oh God, I think im going to be sick. Wow this is a no joke explicit book. Ennis is doing what Ennis does best; tell gritty, hard core war stories, now with Nick Fury as the main character. If you haven’t been reading this, jump on with this issue, but do it on an empty stomach.

Axe Cop President of the World #3 (Dark Horse):
Well, I’m going to say it. This comic about a Cop that has an axe that is written by an 8 year old has jumped the shark. If you haven’t been reading this book, then you can check it out, if you have been reading it, you are probably like me and this will be your last issue of this title for a while. The gimmick feels played out at this point.
