A-Babies vs. X-Babies One Shot (Marvel)
I’m not one to get gimmick books like this. I loved it. I laughed at least 5 times. It’s hilarious.

Wolverine Max #1 (Marvel)
The art was difficult in this book, the writing was shallow. The story sets up a mystery that we’ve seen before in Wolverine books. Nothing about this book grabbed me.

Punisher War Zone #1 (Marvel)
I haven’t been reading punisher since the 90s but thanks to my trusty podcasts I was familiar with the story leading up to this issue. The story is solid, it got me hooked & I want to see how this plays out. I didn’t love the art in a lot of the pages but its solid enough to not have been distracting.

FF #23 (Marvel)
Last Issue before the NOW! Reboot. I loved FF all the way though as the companion to Fantastic Four. Even if you haven’t been reading this, you can pick this up and enjoy it as it is. A wonderful book for a wonderful series.

Bravest Warriors #1 (Kaboom!)
I am a HUGE Adventure Time fan so I wanted to see what this new book that is by Pendleton Ward (I now see its just created by, not written by) was all about. It has its moments, the art is great, but the story wasn’t what I was hoping for. I laughed a couple of times, but it failed to grab me like the Adventure Time books have.
