Aaron (Hearts) RomThe Black Beatle #1 (Dark Horse)
Pulp / Noir comics aren’t in my top types of stories I like to read, but when they are done well you cant help but enjoy them. With amazing art and a compelling story this first issue is a big win. Don’t pass this up!

Savage Wolverine #1 (Marvel)
I’m a sucker for the Savage Land and the art is really good in this issue. The dialogue can be a little rough at times, but overall I liked this.

Conan #12 (Dark Horse)
No exception to the great run that Brian Wood has been doing with Conan. This is a good book consistently month after month. If you haven’t been reading it, pick this up and continue along.

Threshold #1 (DC)
First off, the art in this issue is great, it kept me reading all the way though. The story however kept me thinking “hunger games cash in” the whole time. I couldn’t shake it. Not for me.

Todd The Ugliest Kid On Earth  #1 (Image)
This is strange. The art is really good, the writing, maybe great? Maybe terrible? I really don’t know yet. I’m interested to see at least the next issue, in which case I say you flip through it yourself and decide.
