3 Guns #1 (Boom)
Jumping off of the last book, this is a by the numbers story. Nothing particularly surprising or innovative. Decently executed, it wasn’t a bad read. Art is serviceable.

Animal Man Annual #2 (DC)
This book is worth the cost for Travel Foreman’s art alone. This is a great story, it really got to me.

Skyward #1 (Action Labs)
This was an exciting, but not innovative first issue. Good setup, nice art. This isn’t an all ages book, but good for a young teen or older.

Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril #1 (Vertigo)
It’s awesome to have Tom Strong back. This felt like a continuation not a reboot. It’s great. Art is perfect.
