The Devilers #1 (Dynamite)
I wanted to like this more than I did. It’s not a bad first issue, but the art and coloring are just serviceable and it detracts from the story. It was fine, but not a must read.

Awesome art, awesome. Story? Who knows! But, this was pretty awesome. I’m hooked, I want to know what’s going on.

Lady Zorro #1 (Dynamite)
Look, Lazy Zorro is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s Zorro, but a lady. It’s fun, if you are looking for a Zorro book, lady or no, this was good.

The Squidder #1 (IDW)
I know people will hate me for this but I kinda just like Templesmith’s art. It’s fine, but lets face it, its ok art, hard to follow and the writing is really basic. This was a fine first issue but it didn’t blow my mind.

Doberman #1 (IDW)
I get it. This is supposed to be campy. Like an 80s action movie. It just kinda comes off as dumb. Ok art but barely worth reading.
