All New X-Men #1 (Marvel)
If this book is meant to get people who don’t read X-Men books to read them then it missed the mark. The story setup was fine, I assume if you have been reading X-Men this will appeal to you. Art is really good but I couldn’t care less what happens after this.

Fantastic Four #1 (Marvel)
I had a lot of fear after Hickman’s run ended that we would never see a Fantastic Four like that again. After reading this issue I think we might be ok. I don’t love the art for this book, but it’s not bad and the story had me hooked from page one. I expect big things from Mr. Fraction in this book, but I think he might just deliver.

Where Is Jake Ellis #1 (Image)
I am so happy to have more Jake Ellis story! This first issue didn’t miss a beat. Fast paced, exciting. You are on the edge of your seat the whole time. Going to be a great series, get in on it now!

Conan the Barbarian #10 (Dark Horse)
Start of a new story arc! The art from Shalvey is great, really brings this book back to its early issue glory. If you haven’t been reading this, jump on here and enjoy the ride. It promises to be dark and terrible.

Saga #7 (Image)
I’m sorry, you aren’t reading Saga? Well you must have just gotten out of prison or maybe just woke from a coma? In any case, go buy the 9.99 trade and this issue. It will be one of the best books you’ve ever read.
