Star Wars #1 (Dark Horse)
Full Disclosure: I historically have an aversion to star wars comics. No reason, I love the movies (the original 3) but I never could get into the comics. This is a great first issue if you are a fan of the movies, it will be fun to fill in some history between Empire & Jedi but I don’t know if it will hold my interest in the long run. If you are a Star Wars fan you will want to get this, if not then…

Superior Spider-Man #1 (Marvel)
I had some serious doubts if I would be interested in Spider-Man still after #700 but this was great! Lots of unknowns, drama and internal strife. Stegman’s art is great.

Think Tank Military Dossier #1 (Image)
I have been enjoying Think Tank the main series, this book serves as an info sheet for the characters of the book, all the terminology and factors at work. Really cool info if this cost a dollar or was a digital download, at 3.99 though…

Guarding the Globe #5 (Image)
I find myself looking forward to this book more and more every month. It’s gone from being a companion book to Invincible to a great series on its own. Don’t miss out!

Fury MAX #8 (Marvel)
This whole series has been incredible. So raw, intense, brutal. This was no exception.
