Lobster Johnson A Scent of Lotus #1 (of 2) (Dark Horse)
I love the Lobster Johnson books. They are perfect pulp mixed with supernatural horror. You can’t go wrong with any of the stories of this character.

Rocketeer & Spirit #1 (IDW)
Mark Waid & Paul Smith do the great job of bringing these two characters together that you would expect them to. Art is great and the story feels and reads exactly as it should. I enjoyed this a lot!

Gamma #1 (Dark Horse)
I thought this looked AMAZING and the story was funny at times and a little too bonkers at others. I can’t say this is for everyone, I liked it a lot. Flip though and see if it grabs you.

Hunger #1 (Marvel)
So this doesn’t make a ton of sense to me yet. It’s a Ultimate U book but it’s a Marvel 616 book? It’s all space battles & Galactus so it’s not bad, the art is great and I want to read more, but I don’t know if it’s a MUST read.

Hawkeye Annual #1 (Marvel)
I love Kate Bishop and I really liked the art in this. I don’t know why its $5 for extra pages that could have probably been cut down but that’s ok. I still miss Clint and don’t know why we got away from that in the book, maybe this is the way of breaking Kate out and focusing on Clint again? In any case, great read.
