I really love the art and the premise in this first issue. A cool creative team with a promising story.

Amazing X-Men #1 (Marvel)
Jason Aaron seems to understand two things. Fun and the X-Men. Okay, he understands a lot more but he brings both big time in this first issue. Loved it.

I love this creative team and even though I have no idea what happened (kinda, not really) this was a fun first issue. Don’t miss out on this!

Protectors Inc #1 (IMAGE)
Interesting first issue, I didn’t love the art and there wasn’t a ton that’s different than other books we’ve seen recently. Still enough to make me want to read the next one, but your feelings may vary.

Grindhouse #2 (Dark Horse)
De Campi is doing a great job of capturing the spirit of Grind House Horror without making it just torture porn. Don’t miss out on this!
