The Midas Flesh #1 (BOOM)
Even though the dialogue comes off as Sophomoric, this is a fun first issue for all ages and a good start to a promising story. Read it!

Buzzkill #4 (DARK HORSE)
This is a great mini-series with a powerful message that gets delivered in an intense, awesome way. Don’t miss out on this, great art, great story.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #29 (IDW)
Ross Campbell on art was enough to get me to try this out. I haven’t read a TMNT book in a long time but after reading this it looks like I will be picking this up again.

Illegitimates #1 (IDW)
This is actually a pretty funny and compelling first issue. A lot of setup to a pretty good premise, I actually liked this a lot more than I thought I would.

Ghost #1 (DARK HORSE)
The art in this first issue works really well and we now get to know Ghost a lot more than we did in the first mini-series. I enjoyed this first issue a lot, I like this character a lot, and you should pick this up…a lot.
