But we never really left!
As many of you are aware, Matt and I have been wrestling with iTunes for the past month and a half. For reasons beyond our understanding, iTunes decided to stop updating with our new episodes. So, even though we were still putting out two new shows each week (most weeks), many of you were missing the sound of our sweet voices completely! Well, we’re happy to report that the problem with iTunes has been resolved, and that we’ve made some long-overdue tweaks to our feed that will make it easier for you to find the THN content that you crave.
What does that mean for all of you?
Well, those of you that subscribe to the show through iTunes will need to UNSUBSCRIBE from the old, broken feed and RESUBSCRIBE to the shiny, new feed. After doing so, you should be able to find all of the episodes you missed since December. Those of you that use another service to stream our show, such as Stitcher Radio, don’t have to do anything at all – everything should be running smoothly (please let us know if that isn’t the case).
For those of you that follow THN through an RSS feed reader, we now have TWO content feeds: one that contains all of our site posts, both written and audio, and another feed that contains ONLY our audio podcasts (links below).
Now for the bad news (for us, at least)…
Because of the changes made to our feeds, iTunes is treating THN like a brand new show, despite the fact that we just passed our third birthday and are about to reach our 150th episode. This means that ALL of the Star Ratings and written reviews that you all have been kind enough to leave over the years have been ERASED. It’s a brutal bummer.
It would mean the WORLD to us if you could head to iTunes, click on a Star Rating and, if you’re so inclined, write a short review of THN. If you’re one of the kind folks that already reviewed us, feel free to do so again! If you’ve never left a rating or review, this is a great time to do so! Please help us rebuild our sterling reputation on iTunes, and help the show reach an even wider audience!
