This week’s question comes from Crawdad Cody, who writes “Looking at Marvel’s most recent solicits, I saw almost every title is stuck in tie-in hell. What’s your stance on tie-ins? Do they work? Do you enjoy them? Do they make you want to rip your hair out?” Cody sent this question in before we went on hiatus, when Marvel was nostril-deep in Civil War II tie-ins, but this question is evergreen – it’s a concern with every single event series the Big 2 churn out every year.
